Verified Fractional Operator (VFO)
A professional standard for experienced fractional professionals.
What VFO Is
Verified Fractional Operator (VFO) is a standards-based certification for experienced fractional operators. It provides a clear, independent way to demonstrate how you work and helps you stand out in a crowded market.
Why VFO Exists
The fractional industry has exploded, but the work has no standards.
Anyone can take the title. Some have given themselves unearned promotions. Some operate with discipline. Many do not. Executives see the inconsistency, and it creates doubt. It makes every sales conversation harder than it needs to be.
You walk into a room carrying the reputation of every fractional before you. The strong. The insecure. The ones who left executives wondering who they can trust next.
VFO exists to solve that problem.
It gives experienced fractionals a clear, independent way to demonstrate how they operate: scope, outcomes, boundaries, accountability. It removes uncertainty for the buyer and sets you apart from the noise.
When a CEO can see how you work before they hire you, trust comes faster, pricing conversations get easier, and the engagement starts on solid ground.
VFO is not training or coaching.
It is the standard the market has been missing.
What VFO Does for You
VFO helps you:
-
Present your value with greater clarity and confidence
-
Reduce buyer uncertainty in early conversations
-
Support premium pricing with a credible operating standard
-
Set expectations early and protect scope
-
Signal professionalism before results are visible
-
Sell only at the level you are qualified to operate at
In addition, the VFO badge signals a commitment to professional standards. It reflects a willingness to be deliberate about how you operate, to stay current, and to hold yourself accountable to best practices.
Who VFO Is For
VFO is designed for fractional professionals who:
• Are currently working in fractional engagements or have completed at least one paid fractional engagement
• Work on defined scope or outcomes
• Care about professionalism, clarity, and accountability
How Certification Works
VFO is offered during scheduled certification windows to preserve review quality and consistency.
You enroll by completing a short readiness form. If it is a fit, you will receive the payment link and next steps.
After enrollment, you complete a small set of required deliverables aligned to best practices. Certification is granted once standards are met.
Standards for certification
To be certified, your submission must demonstrate that:
• Your title matches your operating experience
• You have held decision authority at the level you claim
• You operate with structure, clarity, and accountability
• You can sell your role honestly and precisely
If your experience does not support the level you apply for, you will not be certified at that level.
Investment
The certification fee is $2,500.
